| My husband and I loved the Phoencia Hotel. It is truly the Grand Dame of Beirut. The staff was so lovely and very friendly to us. The consigre was extremely helpful with scheduling our time. The location was excellent for walking and exploring the neighborhoods.The breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was very well appointed with plush amenities. We would definitely go back. |

| The location and service at this hotel is excellent. It's hard to find a decent hotel in Beirut, especially near downtown or the American University. The only downside? The price. While not exorbitant (nor out of line with the competition) it is steep.
The problem is that most of the other "five star" hotels in Beirut are quite dumpy. |
